Waimea is a serialized-biweekly graphic novel that tells the story of three people who find themselves living under unusual circumstances in Hawaii. It is written by Kevin Church and drawn by Mike Dake, and each segment will be between five and seven pages long.
Kevin has written comics for BOOM! Studios, including Cover Girl (co-written with Andrew Cosby) and stories for Cthulhu Tales and What Were They Thinking. He is also the creator and writer for The Rack, a comic strip about a comic shop.
Michael Dake is eighteen years old, and a current student at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. One day he hopes to be a Kentucky Colonel. He can be contacted at mike(dot)dake(at)att(dot)net.
Waimea is lettered by Josh Krach, who doesn't have a proper web presence yet but promises that, one day, you can find out more about him. This is his online portfolio.
